Mrs Michele Meyer

I came to this country from Holland in 1979 with my late husband and two sons.

After a career in interior design and fashion, we started a small farm in Devon. I studied oil painting in Holland but switched to sculpture after my husband’s death in 2001. My sculptures have featured regularly in local galleries and ‘open studios’.

In 2017, I suddenly felt an urge to put my thoughts and every-day

adventures into light hearted rhyme with simple illustrations. With the help

and support of Jack, the dog, and the indispensable Rob (boots size 10),

every Saturday and loads of optimism I keep on enjoying it all.
