I was born in Cuba and left when I was four years old. We traveled a great deal living in L.A. while Regan was governor and saw the tanks roll down Lincoln Blvd during the Watts Riots. My father and I were in Watts buying meat, the man at the counter was scared that he'd have a riot on his hands when my father and I walked through the door, but my father yelled out Wong I'm here to buy meat for my family I'm not here to make trouble. We've lived in Miami, Gainesville and in the Dominican Republic and now enjoy semi-retirement. I began to write at first to have something to do, and now it has ignited a passion which I have to do each and everyday. I was happy when I won 2018 Next Generation INDIE Book Award, followed by the Latino Book Awards for Armageddon and Apache Story in the Horror category. In received a five star review from the Readers' Favorite Awards for our book Protect the Guilty in 2017.

I get up every morning in my boxer shorts and coffee and write until I have no more words that day.
