Jennifer W. Dickey

Dr. Jennifer W. Dickey is an Associate Professor of history and Coordinator of the Public History Program at Kennesaw State University. She holds a B.S. with high honors in business administration from Berry College, a master’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in heritage preservation from Georgia State University, and a Ph.D. in public history from Georgia State University. She has worked for the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the National Park Service. She has authored, co-authored, or co-edited five books, including "A Tough Little Patch of History: The Marketplace for Gone with the Wind Memory," "Memories of the Mansion: The Story of Georgia's Governor's Mansion," "A History of the Berry Schools on the Mountain Campus," "Museums in a Global Context," and "Beyond Rosie: Women in World War II." She has curated dozens of exhibitions and is a well-known public historian and preservationist.
