Jodie wrote her first book in 2018, after encountering social awkwardness at her children's school gates, and wondering what might be done (and, indeed, written) about it. 'Questions at the School Gate' is Jodie's personal journey over six weeks of conversations with real people at school in Devon, England, where she and her family live. Jodie is also a published songwriter and mum of three children under ten. Her favourite writer is Bill Bryson and she loves to read non-fiction books in her free time, one of her favourites being '84 Charing Cross Road' by Helene Hanff.
