Samuel D Bass

Sam recently retired after serving 25 years in the US Air Force. He held leadership positions in cyberspace security, information systems operations and management, and nuclear weapon systems operations. During his career, he led large and small teams in various national security positions around the United States to include two assignments to the Pentagon, served in a deployable combat communications unit in Germany, and advised bilateral mission partners in Iraq and Japan. He last served as the Director of Cyberspace Operations, Headquarters 5th Air Force, Tokyo, Japan. He holds master’s degrees from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Air University.
