Shikhandin is an Indian writer who writes for adults and children. Her books include "The Woman on The Red Oxide Floor" (Red River Story, India), "After Grief" (Red River, India), "Impetuous Women" (Penguin-Random House India), "Immoderate Men" (Speaking Tiger, India), "Vibhuti Cat (Duckbill-Penguin, India) among others. Apart from her speculative novella - "The Woman on the Red Oxide Floor" (Red River Story), her sci-fi, fantasy and other speculative fiction have been published in journals, as well as anthologies such as "A Dying Planet" from Flame Tree Press and "Avatar" anthology of Indian and Italian sci-fi from Future Fiction.

Shikhandin's prose and poetry have been widely published in journals and anthologies in India and abroad.
