Hi, I'm Anna Henderson, author of historical fiction. If you love drama, adventure, romance, and mystery, all tied into real places and times and events, then you're in the right spot!

As a writer and musician, I've been deeply influenced by America's rich history in books, film, radio, and music. So no surprise that I write historical novels and short stories. Since I was a little kid writing was always fun for me, and over the last few years I've finished several works. I graduated high school in 2014 and write from home, also playing piano and writing jazz songs. Online history courses, classic movies, and interviews with elderly friends play a huge part in my writing, cultivating my style and widening my understanding of America's past. You'll probably notice in my books that the World War Two era holds a special intrigue for me.

I'm the oldest of five kids, and we've incorporated history into our years growing up. When we moved into a New England colonial house, we had fun making several movies set during the American Revolution. I had the chance to dress up and sing old hits with a jazz band in a theatre where performers used to do vaudeville shows. We love old-time radio shows like George Burns and Gracie Allen or The Jack Benny Program; I've read all the Sherlock Holmes stories and devour G.A. Henty novels. Plus my family's amazing history, stemming all the way back to the Mayflower, keeps inspiring me with more to research and write about.
