Bonnie Chau is from Southern California and received her MFA in fiction and literary translation from Columbia University. She has received fellowships from Kundiman, the Fine Arts Work Center, ALTA, and Vermont Studio Center, and her writing has appeared in Drunken Boat, The Offing, Cosmonauts Avenue, Joyland, Nat. Brut, and other journals. She works at an independent bookstore in Brooklyn and is assistant web editor at Poets & Writers. Her debut short story collection, All Roads Lead to Blood, won the inaugural 2040 Books Prize.
