Poetry is my first love, my private passion. It is the place where my thoughts and feelings transform into words, the window to my soul. I do not recall a time when I didn’t write poetry and I continue to feel inspired to write my heart’s truth. I feel that poetry found me to take me on a picturesque journey and it is woven in that very fabric.

I maintain a healthy respect for the work of my contemporaries and continue to be full of gratitude to my poetry reading friends. I am immersed in this learning curve with a newfound awareness of the greats and its forms. I appreciate it for the art form that it is.
