Ellie Zwanepoel

Ellie Zwanepoel along with her children Elissa and Tiaan, are the creators, authors and illustrators of the Mr. Buttcheek Man and Missymoo books.

A joint love of books, fun, creativity and spending time together has enabled these three Zwanepoels to create entertaining characters they want to share with the world.

Having previously lived in the UK and UAE, they are now calling South Africa home…for now. They reside in Durbanville, Cape Town along with Husband/Pappa Philip, their dog Lollie and tortoise, Tantus.

They are delighted to be affiliated with help2read, a non-profit organisation in Cape Town, South Africa. 5% of all monthly profits from the sale of their books will be donated to help2read to assist them with helping children from disadvantaged communities learn to read.
