linda dague lives and writes in Vermont and has for several years. She first saw Vermont as a unique part of the country and expanded on this to create the other demesne that became part of her trilogy, after being forgotten. Having traveled to far off places such as Petra and China, as well as Las Vegas and LA, are reflected in the books.

Writing about young people coming of age, the joy seekers, gave linda an opportunity to tell a story based upon creativity and happiness, individuality and fun, as well as travel through time and life. It became a goal to eschew violence yet include excitement and exhilaration, and to discover new ways of life.
