Lisa K. Stephenson

Bronx-born, Lisa K. Stephenson (née Jevasia) is an author, publisher, and creative entrepreneur at the intersection of storytelling, media, and cultural innovation. She is the CEO of ASIAS Brands LLC, Editor-in-Chief of The Chapter NYC, and the founder of She’s SINGLE Magazine.

The pioneer of the Author-Owned Book Score™ format, Stephenson integrates music directly into her literary works, including 'The Naida Saga', 'Late Bloomer', and 'The Artist', redefining how stories are experienced across formats. Her novel 'Late Bloomer' is part of the Schomburg Center’s Research & Reference Division collection, preserving her literary contribution within one of the nation’s most significant archives dedicated to Black history, culture, and the global Black experience. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of The Snows of Khione Ballet Academy, Inc., expanding her storytelling into performance and education.

A U.S. veteran and a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Stephenson brings a structured, multidisciplinary approach to building intellectual property and long-term creative ecosystems. Born to Jamaican parents from Kingston, her work reflects a global perspective rooted in culture, discipline, and legacy. She is a proud dog mom.
