Olubunmi Samuel-Adeyemi

Olubunmi K. Samuel-Adeyemi is a financial literacy practitioner, researcher, and community development professional with over 10 years of experience delivering financial literacy and economic empowerment programmes across Nigeria.

She is the founder of Rural Prosperity Africa, a social enterprise focused on financial literacy and entrepreneurship education for rural communities in Southwest Nigeria. Through Money Therapy, a structured approach to financial behaviour change, she has reached over 7,500 direct beneficiaries in English, Yoruba, and Pidgin.

Her MA research at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev included a randomised controlled trial evaluating her rural financial literacy curriculum among female microfinance borrowers in Southwest Nigeria, with findings presented at an international evidence summit in Addis Ababa.

She is a lifetime SYLFF Fellow of The Tokyo Foundation and a member of the Financial Literacy Technical Committee of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission.
