Nikos D Sakkas

Nikos Sakkas is an author of philosophical and literary works. In his most recent book, "Imagination in Power? Opinion as the Illusion of Truth (Greek edition, 2026)", he explores the relationship between imagination, opinion, and the notion of truth in contemporary thought, focusing on how narratives, beliefs, and convictions shape our experience of reality and influence human judgment.

Closely related to this work is his book Democracy Again! (2018). He has also published the stage play The Cycle, which received an award in the 2016 Reader’s Digest (USA) Stage Play Competition, the novella Double Black Greek Coffee (2018), and Stray Light (2019).

He is co-author, with S. Kotrotsos, of the essay Publicly Funded Research & Innovation in the EU: Unlocking Its Public Value, in the EU and Beyond (2020).
