I have loved both history and mysteries ever since I was a small child growing up in rural England. Since then I have lived in the Netherlands and Japan and have travelled widely, particularly in Asia, but have spent most of my adult life in Australia. I now work as a historian and divide my time between a small village on the south coast of New South Wales and Canberra.
