Jennifer P. Brown

Jennifer Brown is co-founder and Managing Partner of Successful Culture International and prior to that was founder and CEO of PeopleTactics LLC. Jennifer Brown is a business-focused Human Resources (HR) and Organizational Effectiveness leader who knows that a business is only as strong as its people. Her goal in working with clients is to provide thoughtful, specialized and appropriate business solutions to challenging HR, Leadership, and Organizational Development issues.

Having led major corporate functions and advised executives during steady and turbulent times, she has extensive first-hand experience in driving organizational change at a strategic level and facilitating rapid personal improvement in individuals. She has worked in diverse environments to include financial; banking; government contracting; manufacturing; professional services; consumer goods; real estate; insurance; nonprofits; legal; hospitality; retail; transportation; and utilities.

Jennifer’s unique blend of real world business experience, coupled with over 25 years of HR management, organizational development practice, change management, and project management help her to consistently exceed client expectations.

She spent the first part of her career in Andersen Consulting’s (Accenture) Change Management practice and then held various senior roles at Freddie Mac to include Manager, Training and Development; Director, HR Business Partner; Director of Recruiting; and Director of HR Business Operations. For the past 15 years, she has been providing HR and organizational development consulting and advisory services.

Jennifer consults to, coaches, and develops clients on strategic human resources and organizational development related to:

-strategy and organizational development steeped in a company’s vision, mission, values, and desired employee behaviors;

-executive and management leadership development;

-employee training and development;

-employee attraction and engagement;

-performance management; and

-HR strategy development, function establishment and turn-around situation.

These engagements have helped clients to increase their business results; improve employee productivity; and enhance the attraction, development, and retention of employees. Ultimately, these engagements better position her clients to achieve their business objectives while strengthening their employee and leadership skills.

Jennifer is a frequent speaker on HR and Organizational Development topics and has been featured in the Washington Business Report (WJLA-TV), U.S. News & World Report, Business News Daily, monster.com, recuiter.com, and SMART CEO. Jennifer has been an adjunct faculty member with the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland where she taught several HR courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. She holds a Master in Business Administration (major in HR and Organizational Development) and Bachelor of Science (major in Personnel/Labor Relations) from the University of Maryland. Jennifer is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP).
