Shane Mitchell

Shane Mitchell has won three James Beard Foundation Awards. In 2018, she received the M.F. K. Fisher Distinguished Writing prize. Shane is also Saveur Magazine's editor at large. Her writing has been anthologized in Best American Food Writing, and her essays have appeared in The Bitter Southerner, Food52, Roads & Kingdoms, Travel + Leisure, and other publications. She forages for mushrooms and collects old knives.
