Sophie was raised in the North East of England with Bamburgh Castle on one side and the countryside on the other. It was here she became immersed with the local fairies, secret passages, and had odd run-ins with the monster at the bottom of the bed.

She spent the majority of time in fantasies, using the rest to write. Her first story, EDWARD AND GRACE, was a moment of great pride for her. She discovered how it felt to write The End after completing a story, and she’d caught the bug.

Sophie began her first novel, PANGAEA, at thirteen-years-old, and it will never see a reader’s eye. Since then, she has written eight novels and is working on her ninth.

Her debut novel, MAGE: THE GUARDIAN’S OATH, spent a week on Amazon’s bestseller list in 2018. She has led library talks, spoken on the radio, and leads writing workshops for home-schooled children.

Sophie graduated with honours from the University for the Creative Arts and Edinburgh Napier University where she studied a BA and MA in Creative Writing.

Her latest book, NIGHTLOCK, was released on 14th September 2024.

Her newest book, DEADLOCK, is set for release in Autumn 2025.
