Robin is someone who has devoted most of his time to creating sustainable spaces for butterflies. It began with writing a mailed-out Newsletter for the Vancouver Island Butterfly Enthusiasts. Museums and Naturalist Clubs would receive the quarterly and distribute his PR work.
This motivational writing led to 7 successful Habitats, two of which are over 2 million sq. ft. in size. The N. Island Butterfly Corridor is still covered on both sides with Lupin for 56 kms. There are now 3 species of Blues living there that were not present when the Inland route was built in 2000.
His PR work included newswire articles, public speaking and his own photography in magazines like BC Nature.
With the publication of “BC’s Butterflies of Concern”, came more involvement with various learning Institutions. He now visits Tourist Centers and Libraries wherever his travels take him, where he holds readings to explain that this is a book of much hope and promise. Of note, some of the best photos from this adventure guide have become ‘Award-winning’, according to Google Maps. The author inserted them into a sea of landscapes and got over 30,000 views in the first few months, apparently no other contributor had done this before.
In order to subsidize his field trips across the Provence gathering significant sightings, Robin has recently completed a fiction series he hopes will be informative to some while entertaining for any reader. For all intensive purposes he is a reporter, years of honing his Newsletter for the best effect gave him the researching skills needed to write these three novels. As a Public Relations Speaker he understands that during his ‘Talks’, saying ‘No Comment’, is not an option. It’s the same with Cobra, who was badgered by repeated questions when he first came on the scene in 2012. To see that these important interviews are not misrepresented, Robin keeps the content of his novels to just what the PR man for the Light-Forces is telling us.
it’s because all three books contain facts that happened after they were printed, Robin has begun to trust what Cobra says. He continues to design butterfly Preserves keeping to this quote on a day to day basis, “In the future, after the Event, the focus will be on Nature.”
