Kendra Thomas

Mediator, Author, Attorney and law firm Founder, Kendra Thomas is a family law practitioner in Southern California. Since her days at Pepperdine University School of Law, Kendra has opened offices in Woodland Hills, California and Newport Beach, California. She has been licensed to practice in all California state courts since 2005; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit; and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is certified by the State Bar of California as a Certified Family Law Specialist.

Whether inside a courtroom or in mediation, Kendra represents clients in a variety of family law matters ranging from negotiating complicated premarital agreements to straightforward and simple divorce. She has dedicated her career to helping her clients reach their financial and legal goals while transitioning through the most difficult times in their life. She has also provided outside strategic counsel to other top-named divorce attorneys in servicing their high-profile clients.

Experienced in traditional litigation, Kendra is also certified (through the Straus Institute at Pepperdine) in alternative dispute resolution methods, including but not limited to arbitration, mediation and negotiation.

Kendra does what it takes to protect her clients and their best interests. She has been called a barracuda and a pit bull by judges and other lawyers for her aggressiveness in the courtroom. However she also understands that every case is unique, and is adept at giving each case the individual approach it needs. To this end, Kendra has received many awards for her legal acumen and belongs to many local Bar Associations, having served on the Board of Trustees for the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She also spends a great deal of time volunteering her time and legal expertise in the community.

As a passionate award-winning advocate for victims of Domestic Violence, Kendra has been instrumental in teaching and changing the law, serving on many committees to give back to the legal community.
