Ava Ceccotti

Ava Ceccotti has published three works; her first, titled, Everything and Nothing, is a memoir that peaks into the mind of a 19-year-old reflecting on, well, just about everything. From making eye contact with strangers in Italy to bus rides alone to New York City, nearly every chapter touches on something new, yet Ava makes ties to show how they're all still connected.

Her second, Cereal in the Summer, branches away from a traditionally-styled book and into a free energy space, all while fulfilling the same raw emotions expected in one. Cereal in the Summer focuses on the shift in feelings we might endure during the warmer months of the year, with each poem accompanied by a color gradient that matches the mood.

The words from Ava's latest book are not just letters strung together with a hint of rhythm, but rather a final script of emotive lyrics. Titled accordingly as "Debut Album", it contains demos and songs that echo heartbreak, an obsession with feelings, and being cool with being a cliche. It's an album. In book form. Just not quite produced yet.
