S F Hardy

Reading is a gift that should be shared with everyone! Stephanie ‘S.F. Hardy’ Fazekas, has devoted her personal and professional life to passing the infinite joy of reading to all those she encounters. By day, she lives out one of her wildest dreams as a children’s librarian. She is a poet and independent author of: The Empress' New Hair and Like a Salad. She has been described as a staunch literary advocate, inspired by her son, nieces and nephews, to saturate the children’s publishing market with books inclusive of marginalized people and social occurrences through her imprint: Shenomenal Ink. Hardy, is a native Detroiter and serial graduate of Wayne State University; with majors in Africana Studies, Psychology and Library and Information Science. She loves all things dance— dancing mostly in her head, rarely aloud. She enjoys tasting food from different cultures and exploring the world with family and friends. Hardy spends her spare time, volunteering, designing candles, crocheting and sleeping. Hardy is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters; also boasting memberships in Motown Writers Network, Society for Children's Writers and Book Illustrators and Amazing Woman Network.
