Finalist Plume du Jury - Les Plumes Francophones 2020, for her novel "Irma et Les Autres" (among the 4 finalists out of more than 1400 manuscripts), Anna Alexis Michel is a multi-talented author, playwright, and artistic photographer, who lives and works in the United States. Her modern and effective writing, which combines sharp dialogue and pointed narratives, makes her one of the most important contemporary American writers in the French language. Her play "Le Peignoir aux Alouettes," staged at the legendary Fillmore Theatre in Miami Beach, is the first French-language theatrical creation in the USA. She is the author of three novels: "Le Peignoir aux Alouettes," "Irma et Les Autres" and "Les Palmiers de Décompression", and of a creative writing guide available in French "Le voyage narratif" and in English "The narrative journey."
