The author is now famously quoted as saying: "Sometimes it takes dusting off the cobwebs and emptying her 30-year-old trousseau before a woman realizes and enjoys the fact that she was born to be that favorite, rich aunt." That is the basis of her writing: to offer good, sound and comforting advice that one would expect from a person who is a mix between their mother, big sister, and best friend. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she graduated from Columbia College (St. Louis, MO) with a B.A. in General Studies and minor in Business Administration. She also graduated from Missouri Baptist University (St. Louis, MO) with a Certificate in Ministry and Leadership; and has earned diplomas and certifications in various disciplines, including: teaching through the Evangelical Training Association; Christian Counseling and Coaching, and Extraordinary Women Ministry Studies, through Light University (powered by the American Association of Christian Counselors); interior decorating and design, through PCS School of Design; and a list of others. She is a life-long member of Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church (St. Louis, MO). Her life experience has been richly rewarded by her multi-faceted background as a professional in Corporate America; a business owner and operator in the fascinating world of design; and as a student, coach, teacher, and motivational speaker in ministry and religious studies. As a writer, both, her mission and greatest desire is to engage readers through various forums and on many levels by presenting complex, spiritual ideas in an interesting, Biblically-aligned and creative format.
