Chris Wong

Chris Wong is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Metabolic Trainer, Martial Arts Instructor, and owner/head coach of Chris Wong Fitness. He is located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada and provides In-Home as well as Online Personal Training.

He has been actively involved in health and fitness since 1991 covering a variety of disciplines including Metabolic Training, HIIT, Martial Arts, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, and a number of alternative training methods.

In his own words "I was anything but the picture of health when I started. I was very overweight, but I told myself it was muscle! I frequently ate fast food, drank pop, beer, and other junk. I decided to do something about it. I immersed myself into the lifestyle and have never looked back. However, I had many ups and downs. It took me years before I made a decision to completely overhaul my workouts and my diet".

This was done largely by learning about the value of Metabolic Training and HIIT which completely transformed his body. The best part of it is that it can be done with minimal or even NO equipment any time and anywhere you prefer. And the diet was simplified into a handful of simple and realistic rules that can be maintained long term.

It was at this time that Chris also began his journey into the Chinese Internal Martial Arts which not only has tremendous health benefits, but helped greatly with stress management and relaxation at times when it was really needed! It also taught him the importance of balance and the realization that it's not necessary to deprive yourself of the things you love. You just have to be sensible and balanced about it.



In 1995, Chris began his career as a Fitness Professional and has been helping clients get in shape ever since.

"My mission is to cut through all the confusion, fad diets, and other things that will get in the way of YOU getting in your best shape ever and having fun doing it!

​Fitness in my way of thinking is all about knowing and learning about yourself. YOU are the one doing the work and YOU are the one reaping the benefits.

Getting results however is not necessarily about learning, but rather unlearning a lifetime of conditioning and letting out that inner self. With proper guidance, over time when you exercise you will feel yourself become a different person".

Your health will improve, your patience and stress levels will improve, little things that used to bother you will seem silly, and more positive changes will happen. What’s really happening is you are REDISCOVERING YOURSELF.
