Mark G Pennington

Mark G. Pennington was born in 1985 and lives and writes in Kendal, Cumbria, UK. He has published four collections of poetry titled 'Barren Stories for Moonlit Mannequins' (Dempsey and Windle 2018), 'That Summer they Broke the Birds' (2019), 'The End of Sepulchre Street' (Cyberwit 2021) and 'Naming the Storm' (Cerasus 2024). He has recently been nominated twice for The Pushcart Prize for poetry and his poems have featured in many magazines, journals and anthologies. He has been published in Europe, Canada, USA, UK and India. He was recently published among some of the finest contemporary poets in the Handstand Press anthology 'This Place I Know'. He holds a degree in Creative Writing from The Open University and he also edits and uploads books for an online charity, helping the visually impaired to access Braille. His debut novel 'She Will Return', a psychological thriller, was published by Cyberwit in 2023.
