Roy Rummler grew up in the mountain west, studied at Brigham Young University - BS, University of New Mexico - MME, University of Wyoming - EdD, and Michigan State University, worked in commerce -- sales and management, and was an educator -- teacher - jr. high through graduate school, principal, director of community ed., and superintendent of schools. He has three wings of expertise - leadership and administration, teaching, and music. Rummler's books are varied because of his diverse education and expertise. He writes to address what he sees as needs, e.g., The Wrong Bottom Line are books to address what he views as a leadership misfocus, I'll Lie Down When I'm Dead, an urging to those of the older generation to get out of their chairs and start contributing, etc. He is sought after to solve people problems -- an assignment at which he has been very successful. He has also published over 100 music arrangements and compositions, and has several youtube presentations on leadership and music.
