I was hooked on medicine from the time I was ten years old. In the ninth grade, I realized through a great teacher and mentor, that I had a gift for medicine. It didn’t hurt that I had several physicians in my family, including my father. Although I still practice medicine, I have structured my life so that I can do two things that I love: practice medicine and write books.
