Jane Beckstead

Jane is a confirmed notebook addict (the doctors say it's incurable), since to her every blank notebook represents a story that needs telling. For years she has jotted down tales of every sort, most with a liberal dusting of magic. She loves writing strong female characters who grow into strong women.

Tethered by Blood is her first book and book one in the Counterfeit Apprentice Series. Jane is a busy aunt to 43 nieces and nephews and lives in the Pacific Northwest or Intermountain West, depending on who you ask. Her first masterpiece, entitled “The Biggest Pumpkin in the World," was written in crayon shortly after she learned how to make words into sentences, and is her greatest literary work to date. It is, unfortunately, not in print.
