Dee Delaney

Dee Delaney was born in the UK to Irish parents and lived in India and Southeast Asia for over 10 years. She developed a profound love for the East from an early age, and is extremely sensitive to the injustices in the world, especially when it comes to disadvantaged women and children. Dee had worked at the BBC for many years when her husband, Tony, died suddenly while doing a charity mountain climb. His death, along with the subsequent deaths of two former partners, her father and a best friend changed her perspective on life, and in 2016, she embarked on a seven-year spiritual quest, swapping her charmed life in the West for a simpler existence in Goa and then Bali. As a result of this journey of self-discovery, she wrote a trilogy of books called The Truth is Within, and her writing is ingrained with the insights she gained during her spiritual odyssey. Dee has now returned to the UK to be close to friends and family, and when she’s not travelling, she works as a spiritual coach helping others to connect to their divinity within.
