After spending eight years as a professional footballer, playing for Premier League clubs such as West Ham United FC and Charlton Athletic FC, I then took to life on screen, taking part in films, programmes and commercials across the globe featuring for brands such as Nike, Coca Cola and Walkers Crisps, and playing Durant Thomas on Sky One’s Dream Team.
Post my football career and alongside my TV career I began to study human behaviour. This led to the birth of The Vivo Team LTD in 2006, an organization specializing in Human Performance that I founded. My background in human behaviour started from studying Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birbeck University (then Simms Counselling & Training) and continuing my development of human wiring through the study of Neuro-Linguistic Programming with NLP Dynamics. Both leading me to reflect on my own life and changing the lens of which I view the world around me. Leading to the creation of products, extensive research and programmes being published in various forms, most notably the Bristish Council's international education magazine.
Connecting well-being to well-doing, my work has stretched across many institutions from schools and prisons to the Institute of Consultants and all Premier League football clubs, creating positive humanistic change on intercultural fluency, mental health, and emotional literacy.
I have lectured at, worked with and sat on advisory panels for some of the biggest organisations on a national and international scale, and am a member of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), Association of Corporate Governors Practitioners (ACGP) and the Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP)
