If she was to match you up with the story that’s right for you, here’s what she’d recommend:

* For those with a bent toward supernatural horror, try the Blood & Magic series, where Maggie Stuart finds magic to be the most dangerous kind of addiction.

* Do you like your horror with a dash of humor? Check out Undead Redhead, about an adorable ginger zombie coping with still being a vegan.

* If you're looking for wholesome middle grade sci fi (complete with a talking alien cat), you're looking for Leia of Earth.

* What about a different take on caped crusaders, where a superheroine and supervillainess form an unlikely friendship? Try The Inner Life of Owl Woman, featured in the anthology Feral Tales.

And if you don’t mind your thriller with a touch of the supernatural, take a trip into the minds of two very different killers in Monstrous, also a part of Feral Tales.
