The author, R.L. Cook, is a genuine renaissance woman with multi-faceted gifts: Valedictorian 4.0 GPA, in "Who's Who" in High School and College, the National Dean's List, B.A. degree in Communications with completed coursework for B.A. in Education and minor in computer programming including courses at Motorola University, Bible, and Philosophy, award winning Poetess, U.S. Patent No. 7,340,411 Inventor, Business Systems Analyst Consultant for Fortune 500 companies including the Big Five IT firms and NASA, classically trained Vocalist for decades, dynamic Speaker, distinguished Researcher and Author.
Her interests include research, writing, genealogy, humanities, fine arts, classical literature, science, astronomy, astrology, law, history, archaeology, anthropology, healing arts, and philosophy (and gourmet cooking of course).
She is thankful for her rich royal heritage which includes ancestral cousins to the Houses of Stewart and Hanover, and is a direct descendant of industrial pioneers like Falmouth, Devon, Cornwall U.K. ship port and foundry and waterworks engineer, Samuel Blatch Cox, and is a ninth half-cousin, 7 times removed, to the legendary but REAL historic figure, hero, Harvard graduate, land developer, and apple orchard pioneer, the generous and kind Johnny "Appleseed" Chapman through her paternal grandfather's mother, piano teacher Hattie Chapman, sister of Henry Chapman, who married Eva M. (nee' Turner) of Richmond, VA, great-niece of Richard Hunt Randolph, legal guardian of General Robert E. Lee related to President Thomas Jefferson, namesake of the Randolph (masonic) Lodge in Richmond.
R.L. Cook hopes that those who read her works will be touched and moved by them to UNCONDITIONALLY love themselves and others, to "walk their talk," and to live peaceably with all mankind. "Perfect love casts out fear." Our thoughts create our reality.
