I’ve been writing poetry for decades; ever since my first piece received favorable response from an audience in 1985. The piece was entitled, “The Dawning of Christmas”, and was inspired by Clement Clarke Moore’s classic, “A Visit From Saint Nicholas”. “Faith Hopes Love” represents my entry into the literary world, and there are more works in my pipeline to be published.
My academic training is in the communication arts, and I professionally identify myself as an interpersonal communications specialist. Through my coaching-consultancy business, I serve by helping empower messengers, and enhance their messages to more effectively reach their targeted audiences and markets, and to outstand their brand.
Meaningfully contributing to the betterment of others is my heart’s motivation. The spirit of my writings reflects the passion that’s in my soul: love for the truth. What gives me the greatest pleasure as a writer is learning of the satisfaction my readers derive from receiving what’s in my heart for them: the best I have to give for the best which they can live.
"This debut collection of poems expresses ‘how faith creates the hope of eventually finding love.’ The author’s poems in Section 1 evoke his personal odyssey—focusing on faith, hope, and love—while Section 2 supplies other general musings. These one-page verses are rooted in topics that are universally stirring and well-known, applying to a wide audience … Many poems are refreshingly optimistic … Others deftly celebrate the affections of parents, teachers, and partners … Uplifting verse.” (Kirkus Reviews)
