Robin R Rabii

Robin R Rabii is the author of nine books.

A father, author, poet, musician and inventor, Robin was born in St. Albans, New York to parents that raised him and his siblings as Black Hebrews in a peculiar religious order. His book, The Life and Times of a Black Prince in America, is a story about his upbringing in this peerless, religious sect.

After spending a good portion of his life doing the normal things that people do – attending college, raising a family, establishing a career, trying to save enough money for the kids to attend college, joining a gym to try to fit into the clothes that should have been given away twenty years ago - he reached the one-half century mark and started his writing career.

Robin Rabii believes there’s a creative force in all of us that inflames the inventive and innovative aspects of our being. He credits this force for the intellectual, athletic, and artistic genius of our species and recognizes the channeling of its mysterious current through all of our bodies – mental, emotional and physical. Rabii maintains that this force is neutral, and, conversely, can be improperly used to ignite the darker parts of our nature, making us geniuses for destructive purposes. At the start of his writing career, he vowed to use the talents bestowed by this creative force for endeavors that foster connection, laughter, healing, truth, and inner freedom. His first literary accomplishment, The Poems of Robin R Rabii, was an attempt to honor this promise.

All of this may seem to paint a picture of a serious-minded personality… but Robin does not take himself too seriously. Through his own admission, his sense of humor is wildly corrupt, facetiously claiming that this may sentence him to live in eternity in that legendary hot, simmering dwelling place for wayward souls…
