I am retired—several times. I retired from the military, from the university, and from my publishing business.

I travel. We live and travel fulltime in our motorhome and have crisscrossed the USA and Canada several times in our fifteen years of living and traveling like this.

I write. The vast majority of my recent writing efforts is directed at RVers—those people who own, use, and travel (part-time or fulltime) in their RVs (recreational vehicles). My previous writing was focused on textbooks and articles for education. I have written features for every major RV magazine, have been a columnist, and have written nine RV books (the other eight are ebooks only).

I speak… and have presented seminars to educational groups during that part of my work life and now present seminars to groups of RVers. I have presented seminars with over 1,000 attendees in the audience and at other times, no one showed up.

I live… and travel fulltime in a motorhome (an RV—a recreational vehicle). We travel extensively in the USA and Canada, have taken our RV into 49 of the states (we have also visited Hawaii but not in our RV since that would cause it to rust), all ten Canadian Provinces, and one Canadian Territory. We have taken four trips—on our own—to Alaska in our RV.
