Julieanne Case

Julieanne Case was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, to an Italian mother and an Irish-Dutch-German father. Yes, there were fireworks until they divorced when she was seven. There were still fireworks but not as often! She moved to California right after college to join the growing aerospace workforce. For more than 30 plus years, Julieanne worked as computer programmer in the aerospace industry. Her first job was programming on the Apollo mission to the moon. She worked for 3 large aerospace companies until she went to work for a smaller company. She connected with her husband there and soon they decided to start their own consulting company and moved into more commercial programming and accounting support. Life has a way to change things up. A car accident prevented her from doing much computer consulting work. She found she was losing interest in doing computer work as well. Then a friend talked her into taking an art class. She learned she is a natural at color. She loves painting Georgia O'Keefe style and abstract paintings. One thing lead to another and soon she was taking more art classes and then got into energy healing classes. A social media class got her creating a blog and she discovered that she liked writing and storytelling.

Through all of these changes, there was one constant: her cooking. Being an avid cook since she was 11 years old begging her mom to teach her how to cook, she has loved cooking. When she moved to California at 21, she began experimenting with new cuisines as well. She studied Chinese cooking for a few years. She is often told she should open a restaurant or write a cookbook.

Her first book is Unscripted: How Women Thrive in Life, Business, and Relationships: Real Life Advice from Women on Balancing Their Power with 40 other wonderful authors. A second Unscripted book will soon be available called Unscripted: How Entrepreneurs Leap and Find Success: Real Life Advice from Entrepreneurs Making It Happen (Unscripted Stories Book 2).
