Dr. Kevin L. Thomas

Kevin and his wife, Melissa, live in Tuscaloosa, AL where he serves as senior pastor of Forest Lake United Methodist Church. He received his BA from the University of Alabama, his Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary. During his 30 years of pastoral ministry, Kevin has seen church rules, customs, hypocrisy, and bad behavior push too many people away from God. He has made it his mission to use the remainder of his career to communicate to as many people as possible that God treasures everyone, even the ones the church doesn't treasure.

Kevin and Melissa have three children: Michael, Katherine, and Olivia, and one daughter-in-law, Katherine’s wife, Hannah. Kevin and Melissa enjoy family game nights, movies, cruising, and University of Alabama sporting events. Roll Tide!
