When J.D. Cavan isn't steeped in the field of forensic psychology, he is delving into the world of fantasy and science fiction. His experience in the dark and forbidden places of the mind has helped him face his greatest challenge yet, that of fiction writing.

I think a biographical statement is really just a statement about moments in time and the most important moment, as we all know, is the present one. So right now I am a writer, and that’s a very cool moment.

I love reading, watching, writing and thinking about science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, horror and great stories that tell me something that I didn’t know about myself or about life, or of things I haven’t even thought of yet.

There are still great mysteries out there, explorations and journeys to be had. Lets go find them.
