Allison Evans

Hello Everyone! Thanks for visiting my Bio. I am a 32 year old mother of four. I have two wonderful stepdaughters, Kaitlyn and Aubree, and boy/girl twins, Brayson and Halli Tate. I live in Prentiss, Mississippi and I am married to the most wonderful man on the planet, Jonathan. I am a Registered Nurse in real life, but in my own fantasy realm, I am an author, renowned cook, power tool enthusiast, herpetologist, yogi, carpenter, and heavy machinery extraordinaire.

I write Sherlock Holmes pastiches, like so many others whose work I thoroughly enjoy. I was forced to read "The Speckled Band" by Sir Author Conan Doyle my freshman year of high school. It was that story, in a high school literature book, that sparked my infatuation with the world's foremost consulting detective. Since then, I have read the canon multiple times, as well as every short story related to the detective that I can get my hands on.

The Victorian era London settings, and timeless characters introduced by Doyle, allow me to escape the troubles of this world. For a few moments every day, I am running along the back alleys of London, finding my way through a pea soup fog using only a dark lantern, trying desperately to keep up with the Great Detective and his Faithful Boswell. I hope anyone who reads my stories will come to love the adventures as I do.

My ultimate goal is to spark an interest in the minds of my friends and family, that will lead to their own dicovery of the Greatest Detective who never lived, and therfore, may never die.
