Phillip Barea

Phillip is the award-winning author of several novels and poetry books, including the Chronicles of Eis series and Sidamo.

Born in the United States; Phillip grew up in Puerto Rico as the youngest son of a bilingual and bi-cultural family. After many years of travel, study, and work abroad; Phillip finally settled down in the Atlanta area (his mother’s hometown and his father’s college home).

His background in international affairs and international law, as well as his nonprofit and academic work experience, greatly influenced the development of his personal philosophy. This personal philosophy is at the heart of all of his written work and social criticisms.

Phillip began his writing career by publishing under the pseudonym Augustine Tagaste, but now he publishes under his real name.
