Steve Feniger

Steve Feniger started his career in the UK as a retail buyer for Marks and Spencer for 20 years, the last 3 of which were in Hong Kong. He continued to live there after leaving in 1999 to run global sourcing for Warnaco (Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear & Speedo) before taking over as CEO of Linmark buying agency, and listing it on the main board of the Hong Kong stock exchange. In 2006 he left corporate life to set up his own buying office and consultancy.

Steve's love of travel, of painting (he did the cover of his book in acrylics) and of getting involved in his clients businesses keeps him on the move and loving life in Hong Kong. "Make it in China", published in April 2018, is his first book, in which he shares the lessons he has learnt sourcing product in China from his many mistakes!
