Rosie Meddon

Rosie Meddon is an author of family sagas set in England during the First and Second World Wars. She came to writing late in life – after a career in project management and a decade of adventures in Europe and the Far East – but believes that a lifetime of experience and accumulated wisdom has provided her with a rich seam of material for her novels.

Rosie’s latest trilogy spans the entirety of the Second World War and centres upon a trio of schoolfriends, unexpectedly reunited as they strive to find purpose in the face of wartime hardships and personal loss.

As well as her latest series, Rosie has previously published three other trilogies, a format she enjoys for the opportunity to develop plots and themes on a broader scale. She draws inspiration from the countryside of the southwest of England and from her own family history, which she has spent many years researching.

Rosie grew up in Hampshire and now lives with her husband in Devon. When not writing, she enjoys walking, exploring, and tending her very productive allotment.
