Barbara Strelke is a poet, photographer, and painter who divides her time between San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, and Tucson, Arizona. She shares her life and future travels in Spain with Charlie Bloomer. In her previous careers she taught English and ethnic literature at the University of New Mexico, history of landscape architecture at the University of Arizona, and worked as a land use planner for city and county governments in Tucson. Near the end of her planning career, she opened a private consulting firm, which allowed her the time and freedom to revisit her love of painting. Visit her artist's website at www.barbarastrelke.com.
