Wynand de Beer

Dr Wynand de Beer is a South African who taught in Cape Town, until he moved to Ireland where he completed his master's dissertation on the philosophy of Eriugena. This was followed by doctoral research in Hellenic (or classical Greek) philosophy and evolutionary theory, on which his first book, 'From Logos to Bios,' is based. In his next book, 'Reality: From Metaphysics to Metapolitics,' De Beer discusses a wide range of philosophical, theological, and socio-political themes from the viewpoint of Hellenic philosophy and traditional Christian theology. His research articles have been published in various peer-reviewed journals in the United States and South Africa. De Beer is also a keen student of history and has written a two-volume work on the Second World War and its aftermath. He currently lives in England.
