Robert Angst

Robert Angst grew up in central North Carolina, using his overactive imagination in the shrinking woods and expanding suburbs to convince his boyhood self that he was actually in Middle Earth. His primary influences were a trail-loving father who cultivated his curiosity, and a sensitive, articulate mother who taught him the joys of putting emotions into written word.

Since meeting on the Appalachian Trail and finishing their thru hike together in 2015, Robert and Stephanie hiked the Laugavegur Trail in Iceland and spend their weekends kayaking and exploring caves in Indiana and Kentucky. Their next big adventure is on the horizon.
