Clay Anderson

Hi, I'm Clay — the author of this book, and the publisher of Swing High Children's Books.

When my kids were younger, we would frequent the library and come home with teetering stacks of picture books. I'm pretty sure I enjoyed them as much as the kids did. Children's books can be magical and charming and poignant and funny and important — all at once. A good book can accomplish so much in just a few hundred words.

Reading to my kids one night, I had the passing idea to write a book for each of them. I had no dreams of publishing at the time, it was just a sentimental gesture.

Well...that changed.

I connected with an incredible community of authors, published a few books, and things took off. And now, this has become my passion and my livelihood. Best job ever.

Before launching Swing High, I spent 20+ years in IT, served as a youth pastor, and I still work with kids and youth every week. It keeps me (mostly) young!
