Kira Lewis

Kira Lewis is a free-lance writer and blogger and co-author of the book Screen Time Sanity: The Crazy Easy Guide To Doing Technology With Your Kids. She has been a parenting columnist for several regional parenting magazines for almost ten years and has earned several awards for her free-lance work on parenting topics. She also runs two parenting blogs; Sunshine and Hurricanes and Parenting Teens and Tweens.

As her children got older, she realized there were fewer resources and support networks to help parents at a time when the parenting issues they face become increasingly challenging. It is her goal to create a stronger community for parents during this time so parents can build strong and lasting relationships with their school aged children.

Prior to writing she spect 15 years working in corporate marketing. She has an undergraduate degree from The University of Michigan and and MBA from Southern Methodist University. She currently lives in SWFL with her husband of 15 years and their two children.
