Candace Jean Newman

Candace Jean Newman MAT, LMT, The Oil Lady®, holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is founder of Oil Lady Aromatherapy® and The Good Medicine Tin®, and the founder and owner of the Touch With Oils® Institute, LLC.

Candace is devoted to helping people, find, build and create their own love affair with their Inner River of Peace. This is about creating a system of personal holy habits and learning to develop their heart-mind muscle.

Her passion involves the new frontier of discovering the deep peace of silence in her book: Your Inner River of Peace: Ten Messages of Love. Candace received these universal messages of truth throughout her life and knew they were not for her alone. The Four Themes usher in wisdom and love unique to each person through the Messages.

This mission is enhanced by her Touch With Oils® Ten Principle philosophy and her Motions of Stillness Techniques for nurturing the self and nurturing others.

The work was established in 1992 with her Touch With Oils® (TWO)Hand Massage in her private practice, revealing the wisdom and mission of essential oils through the TWO techniques.

Candace distills down the complex topic of essential oils in her ongoing Aromatherapy series: The Oil Lady® Guidebooks. This education provides simple, practical, and safe ways to use essential oils for your increased sense of well-being.

She is one of the authors of the book, The World of Aromatherapy, and has contributed many articles to national and international publications.

Her Aromatherapy education started in 1989 as the result of her exploration to resolve her own health issues. This brought about a major career change from Executive Vice President of a prominent real estate firm to a professional Aromatherapist.

Candace’s Aromatherapy training and certificates are from Purdue University and leading Aromatherapists in the United States, Canada, England, France, and Germany.

Her professional Aromatherapy memberships include: The National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy, Alliance of International Aromatherapists. International Federation of Aromatherapists, International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists, and the American Massage Therapy Association.
