Nan Alexander Doyal is an author and business woman who has lived and worked in North America, Europe and Asia for more than three decades. In 2008 she left her corporate career and began a journey across the world to reconnect with people she knew who were solving problems in creative and sustainable ways. She recounts their stories and what she learned in her award winning first book: Dig Where You Are: How One Person’s Effort Can Save a Life, Empower a Community and Create Meaningful Change in the World. (Casper Press, 2017).
In 2018 she won the Independent Book Publishers Association's Benjamin Franklin Gold Medal Award for Best New Voice, and the Silver Medal for Best New Book. Her book is a finalist for Foreword Indies Best Book of the Year 2018.
She is currently working on a new book, an international suspense novel which is based on current and historical events.
